Green Energy

As part of our energy management strategy, we work in partnership with ComCam. Through this collaboration, we exclusively purchase locally generated renewable energy from solar, wind, hydropower and locally sourced biomass. Our primary focus is on energy generated from solar, wind and water, predominantly sourced within the Netherlands.

ComCam works directly with renewable energy producers, ensuring a transparent and reliable supply chain. In addition, we hold our own Green Electricity Procurement Certificate, providing assurance that the electricity we use is genuinely sourced from renewable energy. This enables us to combine sustainable business practices with a dependable and future-oriented energy supply.

Our reception building offers guests the highest standards of comfort, quality and hospitality. To achieve this, the building has been constructed using the latest energy-efficient technologies and installation systems, designed to minimise energy consumption and reduce our environmental footprint as much as possible.

In addition to creating a distinctive guest experience, our sustainable approach also delivers long-term operational benefits. Significant savings are achieved through the building's energy-efficient design and construction. High-performance insulation, combined with intelligent systems such as thermal energy storage, solar panels and smart lighting sensors, helps reduce energy consumption and lower operating costs. Energy-efficient equipment and LED lighting further contribute to an efficient and sustainable operation.

Sustainability is integrated into every aspect of our daily operations. With our reception building, we aim to set the standard through its extensive facilities, minimal CO₂ emissions and a high GPR sustainability rating—all while providing our guests with exceptional comfort, wellbeing and an enjoyable stay.

Emission-Free Beachside Recreation

The Breezand Beachhouses by Breezand Vakanties offer a unique and sustainable way to experience a holiday by the sea. Located directly on the coast, the Beachhouses are fully energy-neutral in operation, allowing our guests to enjoy a relaxing beachfront stay while minimising their impact on the environment.

The Beachhouses have been designed with sustainability at their core, combining innovative technologies with environmentally responsible building materials. Solar panels on the roofs make optimal use of renewable energy, supplying the accommodations with clean electricity while significantly reducing their environmental footprint.

In addition, Breezand Beachhouses incorporate advanced water-saving systems and sustainable construction methods to minimise their impact on the surrounding coastal ecosystem.
