From what time can I check in?

For the current check-in times, please refer to the arrival email you will receive from us one week before arrival.

Can I arrive earlier or leave later for an additional fee?

Subject to availability. Please inquire at the reception desk about the possibilities for early arrival or late departure.

Where do I check in upon arrival at the park?

You can check in and collect your key at Duinhotel Breezand, Zandbank 1, 4354 NR Vrouwenpolder.

Until what time can I check out?

If you are staying at the hotel, check-out is daily until 11:00. If you are staying in a Beachhouse, your luggage will be collected between 09:00 and 09:30, at which time you will also return your keys. In our other accommodations, check-out is possible until 09:45. These are our regular times

Is the reception open 24 hours a day?

Are there charging stations for electric cars available at the park?

If you have an electric car and have booked accommodation without its own charging station, you can use the parking lot next to Duinhotel Breezand, where 40 charging stations are available.

Is free Wi-Fi available for all guests?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available for all guests.
At the Duinhotel, you can use an open Wi-Fi network.
All other accommodations also have Wi-Fi; the Wi-Fi password can be found at the bottom of the arrival note.

Our technical service will visit you as soon as possible. Our technical service has a key to the accommodation, so you do not need to stay at home for this.

Can I rent a beach cabin on the beach of Breezand?

Yes, that is possible. You can rent a beach cabin via the following websites: Strandhuisje.com or Beachboxes.nl

As a guest of Breezand Vakanties, where can I throw away my trash?

Residual waste and glass can be disposed of at the designated points; each accommodation type has its own container nearby. Paper can be placed in the paper container behind the hotel, near the tennis courts.

How can I use the charging stations for electric cars in the parking lot next to the hotel?

In most cases, you can use the charging stations with a standard charging card, just as you would at other locations. If your charging card does not work or you don’t have one, we recommend downloading the AgriSnellaad app.

I’ve just completed an online booking, but I didn’t see a suitable payment option. How can I make the payment?

We are reviewing your booking. You will receive your booking confirmation within 24 hours, which will include the payment information and the bank account details for your transfer.

Until when can I cancel free of charge?

The cancellation conditions vary per accommodation. For the park, you can find them in the general terms and conditions of ‘Breezand Vakanties’, section 15. For the Duinhotel, they are listed under the heading ‘Duinhotel’, sections 3 and 4.

Where can I go for a beach ride on horseback nearby?

In the Vrouwenpolder area, you’ll find several horse stables offering both beach and forest rides, for example Sophies Choice. Just a 10-minute drive from Duinhotel Breezand is Manege Duno, a trusted spot for an enjoyable horseback ride.

Waste separation and waste charge

As of 1 January 2026, the municipality of Veere has changed its waste collection system. Waste must be separated more strictly. To encourage this, the municipality charges a fixed fee per emptying of residual waste. The principle of the polluter pays applies.

As a result, we are required to charge a contribution of €2.00 per night.
If this waste charge proves insufficient, additional costs may be deducted from the security deposit afterwards.

We therefore strongly request our guests to separate waste correctly and to minimise residual waste as much as possible. This is in the interest of yourself, the property owner, and the environment.

By default, our rooms are equipped with one double duvet. However, upon request, we can provide a room with two single duvets. Please note that this is subject to availability, so we kindly ask you to inform the reception of your preference a few days in advance. 

Does the hotel have a secure place where guests can store their bicycles?

Yes, the hotel has a locked bicycle storage area where you can safely park your bike.

Does the hotel have a meeting room?

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a meeting room.

Are bathrobes and slippers provided in the room?

Yes, upon arrival, bathrobes and slippers will be ready for you in your room.

How can I use the charging stations for electric cars in the parking lot next to the hotel?

In most cases, you can use the charging stations with a standard charging card, just as you would at other locations. If your charging card does not work or you don’t have one, we recommend downloading the AgriSnellaad app.

Pets

Are pets allowed in the vacation home and/or apartment?

Since the accommodations we rent out are owned by private owners, this varies per accommodation. You can find this information for each accommodation on our website. For most accommodations, a maximum of 1 pet is allowed. If you wish to bring more than one pet on vacation, please contact us by phone.

Are there any special facilities for pets, such as dog walking areas or dog beaches?

Your dog is welcome on the beach at Veersedam all year round. During the summer period (1 May to 15 September), your four-legged friend must be kept on a leash between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Outside these times, your dog is free to run, play and swim in the sea!

Your dog is allowed to run free on the main beach from 15 September to 1 May. However, between 1 May and 15 September from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., your dog is not allowed on the main beach. Therefore, please pay close attention to the signs.

Practical information: Dogs are often allowed at the beach pavilions. Please check the signs on site for the most up-to-date rules.

Do I need to register my pet in advance, and are there any costs involved?

If you wish to bring a pet to an accommodation where this is permitted, you must notify us in advance. Additional costs will apply.

What is the difference between Breezand 1 and Breezand 2?

Breezand 1 is the original park from the 1950s/1960s, with lots of greenery, tall trees and characterful cottages. The houses vary in style; many have now been renovated, but not all, giving the park a varied and attractive appearance. 
Breezand 2 was built later (from the 1980s onwards) and has a more modern layout with detached and semi-detached holiday homes, spacious plots and plenty of privacy.

Can I park anywhere?

If you are staying at Duinhotel Breezand, you can park in the parking lot right next to the hotel.
At our other accommodations, you can park at the accommodation itself.
